This is one of those instrumental songs I like to write that I see as a kind of musical diamond - interlocking melodies and rhythms that form some kind of twirling crystal in your mind.
Russ's soft pads are a subtle addition, but I think they're really make the song. They bring a fuzzy, nostalgic warmth to the angular, geometric guitars.
This song is a little more incomplete than others, but I'm ok with that. It's a little thing unto itself - light, soft, friendly, and fleeting - like a sunbeam streaming into your living room on a Sunday afternoon.
